New ABC Music recording artist and Telstra Road To Tamworth winner Jasmine Rae is rapidly building a significant national fan base and her debut single 'Country Singer' is in stores now.

'Country Singer' was presented to media in May and she was quickly invited to perform on Network Ten's The Morning Show, Channel Nine's Mornings With Kerri-Anne and Ray Hadley's top rating morning program on 2GB in Sydney.

Over the past week, viewers of the Country Music Channel were also introduced to Jasmine Rae's music for the first time, with her debut video clip 'Country Singer' debuting on the channel as its "Country Pick".

Rae topped all that on Wednesday night performing a stirring rendition of the National Anthem at the 3rd State Of Origin game at ANZ Stadium in Sydney in front of a nationwide television audience of 2.2 million people, as well as the 78,000 people at the game itself.

That performance was also prefaced by feature articles in the Sunday Telegraph, The Sunday Mail, The Herald-Sun and The Australian, along with a swag of radio interviews in the lead-up to the game. Even Roy and HG felt compelled to discuss Jasmine's upcoming performance on their Sunday afternoon Triple J program!

The video clip for 'Country Singer' includes guest appearances from some of Australia's most noted actors at present. It features cameo appearances from Gyton Grantley (Underbelly) , Mark Priestley (All Saints) , Josh Quong Tart (Home & Away) , Abe Forsythe (Always Greener, Tripping Over) Patrick Brammall (Canal Road) and Justin Rosniak (Packed To The Rafters).
