24/04/08 - SHEA FISHER - HITTING NASHVILLE ON A HIGH
On the eve of her trip to Nashville, Shea Fisher's new single 'Everyday Girl' has hit #1 on the CMC Top 30 Countdown after a month in the top 10.
The new single has also been topping country radio play lists around Australia .
Fisher is heading to Nashville next month to record her second album - the follow up to her debut album Everyday Girl . Producing Fisher's new album will be world renowned producer and recent visitor to Australia, Richard Landis.
" I'm hoping this album will demonstrate my growth as an artist over the past two years not only in my songs but also vocally. I have learnt a lot since my first album, had many new experiences, ups and downs and I think this new album will show a real fresh side of me"
Shea been invited by the US Country Music Association to sing at Their annual Global Artist Party at this years CMA Music Festival in June.
She will get there courtesy of a sponsorship from Commercial Radio Australia.
The CMA Music Festival draws nearly 200,000 people every year.
