This album is once again produced by multi-award winning producer Garth Porter. “I'll always remember playing a fundraising concert in the backblocks of Western Queensland. The little place was Yaraka and there wasn't much there but a pub, a school and the bush medical clinic but for the 30 odd people living in Yaraka this place was home. The Premier of Queensland Peter Beattie and his wife Heather flew out for the show along with 3000 people from all over the outback who came in from parts further out to help raise funds for the school and bush medical clinic. After the show we all went back to the old pub and were invited to write a message on the wall. Peter Beattie wrote, “Yaraka QLD - Centre of the Universe!” Years later I recalled that legendary town, the people and the spirit. Planet Country is for you & all those people across Australia who are livin' and breathin' and workin' this hallowed ground”, said Kernaghan.
